PENERAPAN METTODE DRILL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TAHFIDZ DI SDI KOTA BLITAR

Islamic Religious Education cannot be separated from its primary

source of law, the Qur'an, which is the holy book revealed by Allah

SWT to the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The widespread emergence of

Tahfidz Qur'an (Qur'an memorization) programs indicates a growing

public awareness of the virtues of memorizing the Qur'an. This study

employs a qualitative approach, with data collection conducted through

observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis

techniques involve data reduction, data display, and conclusion

drawing. The drill method is a technique of presenting Islamic

Religious Education materials by training students repeatedly and

earnestly. The results of the study reveal three main aspects: the

planning of the drill method implementation, the execution of the drill

method within the learning process, and the highly satisfactory

outcomes of applying this method. The success of the method is

demonstrated by the holding of a tahfidz graduation ceremony that

successfully met the targets set by the tahfidz program at SDI Kota

Blitar.
