Abstract

Teachers are educational personnel who come from community
members who are devoted and appointed to support the implementation
of education. The teacher is a position or profession that requires special
skills, this work can not be done by anyone without having the skills as a
teacher. In Islamic teachings the teacher is the person responsible for the
development of students by seeking all of its potential, both affective
potential, cognitive potential, and psychomotor potential. To be a
professional teacher requires special requirements and must master the
true nature of education and teaching with a variety of other sciences that
need to be fostered and developed through a certain education or pre-
service education. Professional teachers do not think just teaching but he will do better for his students, society, and himself as stock of his life in
the future.
