PEMANFAATAN FITUR GOOGLE CLASSROOM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM
Abstract
This research is motivated by the weak motivation to learn and students in participating in PAI and Moral Education learning in the classroom which is influenced by minimal teacher innovation in delivering interesting learning material for students. This research uses classroom action research (PTK) which adapts the Kemmis and Taggart model with four components, namely: Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. This research uses two cycles, namely cycle I, the classical learning model, while in cycle II the inquiry learning model and project based learning. The instruments used were interview guidelines and observation sheets. The research method used is a case study involving class V students. Data was collected through observation and interviews related to the implementation of Google Classroom. The research results show that the use of Google Classroom has a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This platform makes it easy to distribute materials, interact between teachers and students, as well as administer assignments and exams online. This research concludes that the use of Google Classroom can be an effective strategy in increasing students' learning motivation. The implications of these findings contribute to the development of technology-based education, by prioritizing approaches that encourage active participation and high motivation in the learning process at SDN 03 Taman, Madiun City.
