Abstract

Learning Arabic is considered difficult for non-Arabs because of the many differences. Differences in the mother tongue system and the destination language, both the sentence system and the cultural system of the two languages. Therefore, the progress of learning Arabic for Indonesian is highly dependent on the level of similarities and differences between Arabic and Indonesian. Of course, this requires contrastive analysis when analyzing similarities and differences. This contrastive analysis focuses on sentence structure or sentence patterns. Sentences discussed in this journal are active and passive sentences in Indonesian and Arabic. Learn active and passive sentences to find similarities and differences between the two languages, Indonesian and Arabic. A complete understanding of active and passive sentences will help you recognize other Arabic sentence patterns. On the other hand, in Indonesian, it can be used as a basis for understanding other sentences.
