Abstract

The purpose of this study is Knowing the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education Learning in shaping the character of students at SMP Excellent Ma'arif Garum Blitar 2). Explaining the results of the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education Learning in shaping the character of students at SMP Excellent Ma'arif Garum Blitar. the method used is a qualitative method. From the results of our research, we conclude that: 1). The application of Islamic Religious Education Learning at the time of learning is by practicing at the time of learning adapted to the existing material, for example on the material for prayer, and ablution. Learning outside the classroom, with the existence of a mosque in school, is useful to support the process of forming student character. students always attend the Duha prayer, Dhuhur prayer, Asr prayer and Friday prayers in congregation at the school mosque, following the program that has been held by the school, namely Madrasah Diniyah in the morning until break time every Monday to Friday. 2). The results of the application of Islamic Religious Education Learning in schools make students' characters better than before. So that students at school already have religious character, discipline, responsibility, honesty and love to read.
